It is a problem when there are no inbred orca known to exist in the wild
It is a problem when marine parks are inbreeding not even three generations into captive born orca
It is a problem that Seaworld and Loro Parque knowingly inbred a very young female TWICE
It is a problem that Loro Parque tried to spin the birth of Adan and Victoria as a good thing
It is a problem that you are defending the practice of inbreeding when it has led to the suffering and death of a young calf.
And the worst part is that Kohana will probably be pregnant again soon. Her babies have been nothing more experiments, to gauge public reaction to these inbred animals.
This is the future of captivity. This is the future of your marine parks. As the gene pool shrinks, these parks will not stop breeding. They will simply inbreed for as long as they can. And I’m sure you’ll all be around to defend them even as the calves suffer and die.
And I’m sick of hearing this spiel about how wild animals die all the time. No one is denying that. But not like this. Never like this. I wonder how you people sleep at night, defending such cruelty as if it was normal.
I’ve never heard of a single orca, wild or captive, that was like Vicky. She never grew. She was covered in those weird bruises. There was something seriously wrong with her from the outset, and I think Kohana knew it too.
Vicky should never have existed, but I’m thankful that she did. She exposed you all as the vile, foul people you are. Not just you, but the executives of these parks (as if there was any doubt).
There’s a special place in the Afterlife for the innocent who have suffered. As for those greedy, money-grubbing filth, I hope they go through the same suffering they put that poor baby through.
The fact that people are actually defending LP and SW over this disgusts me more than those defending the GA’s beluga plans. You all need a serious reality check.
